Supermoto sprocket sizes
You can run your 48/49/50 thooth sprocket. If you do so it is recommended to fix a 14 thooth at the front. There are three main reasons you should consider gearing for faster speed.
- supermoto need smooth acceleration
- the speed is much higher
- the stretches are longer it will prevent you from shifting
Gearing depends on the track speed and configuration.

Chain length
Changing your front sprocket should not cause you any problem you should be able to run with your motocross chain.
Goint to a smaller sproket might make your chain too long. Then you face the decision, buy a new chain or cut one or two links.
